Brookshore reminds me of the grocery stores of the 1970s, when the staff actually cared about the quality of the store. Produce is always fresh, and they do a fantastic job of selling new product when it comes into their store. Case in point,... right now is 'green hatch chili pepper' season. Brookshire bought a huge amount and is pushing it in their stores, along with instructions on how to roast/clean/cook it. As a result, I bought some, followed Brookshires guidance, and am now 100% on board with green hatch chilis. You get points for purchases you can use on petrol purchases, the bag-boys walk you to your car, and every single employee is eager to help. I used to go to Walmart down the road, but last year decided to pay a fraction more and now Brookshires is my jam. So, why am I only giving it 4 stars instead of 5? This Brookshires USED to have a great little 'clearance bin' with meats & sandwiches at a Reduced Price. They seem to have done away with that, and the only 'clearance bin' is 2-3 feet of shelf space with garbage on the end of one of the aisles. There is never anything good there, and that section of the store is the worst-kept and least organized part of the store. It's like a 1990s K-Mart clearence bin, with items just dumped in and randomly priced.

All are so nice and respectful. Always fully stocked with variety. Things are easy to find and they will help you find whatever you need. Slackers are always nice and prompt. They can't accept tips but that doesn't matter to them they still do a great job. A little bit higher prices but you get great customer service. Shop local.

Used curb side service today. Ordered on line Friday night and picked up Saturday morning. Never had to get out of vehicle. Ordering very simple if you're a computer geek like my spouse. Computer interface needs to be more user friendly for those not that computer savvy. There is no charge for this service for orders over $50. For first time users there is no charge. Jeffrey the store associate very friendly and efficient. Don't know how long this will last but they also gave us a small gift bag containing the pictures items. Overall not bad experience. BTW-I think the fee if under $50 is like $5 or $6.

They have a fairly decent selection and I did find everything I was looking for but rather than give five stars I am opting to give only four. I declined having anyone take my buggy out for me but they sent someone anyone who followed me and insisted on handing me the sacks. I told him twice I would and could do it myself but he continued without a word. I did thank him. The point is that I have aspergers and it threw everything out of whack. I realize that they have store policies but repeating myself three times was unnecessary and had he just waited for the buggy when I was done it would have made a little difference. Great store for those with no such issues though.
